TTRS (MATHS HOMEWORK) & competitions
All of the children at Thameside have a Times Table Rock Star (TTRS) account. Please find their login information at the front of their reading records.
In KS2, we expect children to spend a minimum of 30 minutes a week on TTRS as their maths homework. Ideally, children should aim to play for 10 minutes a day.
Why should we keep on practising? Average expected recall times for each year group increase over time, so keep practicing to increase your recall and improve your maths fluency.
If you've already reached this, keep practising to break the world record set by a year 4 child in 2021 - 0.285s/qu https://bit.ly/40RFNSL
In FS and KS1, use of TTRS is optional but recommended.
Access TTRS here: Times Tables Rock Stars: Play (ttrockstars.com)
TTRS is time limited for children between 7:30AM and 7:30PM and competition contributions are limited to 30 minutes a day (although children can play longer if they wish)
Check out the Competition page for the results of weekly year group competitions and half-term teacher and Rock band competitions as well as the top 10 school leader board.
